Boundaries of the Space

Christi’s bodywork offerings are an invitation into deeper presence with the body, as well as into an altered state of consciousness. To allow Spirit’s voice to speak and to sink into non-ordinary reality, Christi works in a nonverbal container. This means there is no small talk once the bodywork session has begun, as the intention is to listen inwardly. The exceptions to this are when the client is uncomfortable or would like to name something about their present moment experience (speaking memories, feelings, sensations, or needs/desires as they arise). Sounding, sighing, crying, or any other emotional expression outside of the English language are beyond welcome at any time. Using movement, breath, or sound are ways the recipient can assist in moving energy through the body during session if they choose.
